Thank you for validating and especially your comments. I was not aware that it could pick up colors from clothing! It's hard enough to keep white white. Is the color transfer due to the white color or general leather used out of curiosity?

I would stay away from any seller who is unwilling to provide better photos upon request. It is not that difficult to capture decent photos.

Oh dear robynbenz, I've bought it! The seller hasn't dispatched yet so I'm hoping I'll get more pictures to post here to make absolutely sure before I put a paypal claim in. What made you so sure straight away that it's fake? Gutted!

I hope I am wrong, but I have not ever seen a Mahala with black lining inside. Also the lilac ribbon which runs along inside is not scalloped from the photos. Maybe one of the other members can verify. I looked at this quite early this morning, but it did not give me a good feeling. If you do get more photos, please post and I will look again.

Thank you so much for your help ladies. I got a refund from the seller as the item hadn't even been dispatched. You are all amazing and saved me the nightmare of having a horrid fake!
