Hi all! This is my first post on PurseForum ever, but I’ve fallen deep down the scarves rabbit hole after my lovely friends bought me my first Hermes for my 30th birthday and I’m looking for a vintage one that will both go well with it and fill a different niche in my wardrobe! I found this Brides de Gala Fleurie on EBay and I think it may be the one… can you help me authenticate it? Thank you so much for the help!

Scarf Name: Brides de Gala Fleurie
Listing number: 274425242392
Seller: Milano_Boutique
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/274425242392
I don’t see any red flags but the copyright is blurry (there is one but there is no close up to determine if it is OK) and the caretag is obscured by the store tag

Hello - just won the bid on this last night (so it's not a live link, but still shows all the photos if you scroll down); would love to know if it is legit. Also curious if anyone has opinions on this seller in general if you've purchased items - they get great reviews, but the auction prices are often too good to be true (this was a lucky win; most go for far higher!):

Scarf Name: Feux de Route
Listing number: 146018145274
Seller: Brand Revolution by Next Innovation

Here is another Japanese reseller that has a scarf I'm interested in (similar high sales and high rating and pricing as the previous post seller:

Seller: yOridOrimidOri

None of the features are legible/seen in the photos - cp and sig are there but illegible, no caretag , hems, See post 1. So i give a grade of D on the photos. So, I dont see any red flags (based on the awful photos ...)

Thank you so much, @marietouchet! I totally understand about the live link; I wish I'd seen this forum prior to the auction (and cross fingers I actually got a good deal on the Feux de Route!). LOL - love your comment for Les Folies du Ciel. The poor photos seem to be a theme with the high-volume Japanese resellers (there were pretty clear caretag and hem close-ups for Les Folies du Ciel, but toward the end of the photo group).

As an aside, have you found the authentication process at TheRealReal to be accurate? I purchased a Brides de Gala in excellent condition from TRR last week, but hate that they only give you three photos in their scarf listings, won't go into their storerooms to take more photos if you ask (at least they didn't for me), and they aren't close-ups. Although I purchased mine on final sale, I did do a customer service chat with my concerns. Since they couldn't provide more info or photos, they said they'd have record of my concerns to do a refund if I wasn't happy with it. It's a beauty though, so no need to refund :)

Close up of hem and care tags of the pink Regina are the 14th and 18th photos (last request, I swear!):

Authentic.
1. You are picking designs at a lower price point (good consumer !) but those will typically have lesser photos. The seller is not putting in the same effort as to sell a grail at $1000. Makes sense. IMHO that is true regardless of where the seller is located.
2. In general, I don’t really comment on sellers. For any given seller, some love it, others hate it. I find it easier to talk to a specific scarf, not a seller overall.
2a. I also try not to comment too much on price. How much one spends is a personal decision, not for me to make.
3. TRR. yes, 3 photos. They sell in high volume, ie A LOT and have developed a process that works for them. They put a certain amount of time into photos for their desired profit margin. They are not going to give you more photos. That said, they accept returns UNLESS it is a final sale - which is unfortunately when the scarf is greatly reduced in price.
4. There is no magic to how many photos are required or of what quality. Some people make a decision to buy based on VERY SLIM information - they are taking chances. They probably know the design. I try to be consistent and if you get the photos then you have a better chance of success.
Enough babbling

You are a gem, @marietouchet . Thank you for your thoughts, expertise, and willingness to help everyone out. Yes! I am new to the preloved market. I have a couple of Hermes boutique-purchased scarves that I adore, but as I don't baby them and love them out, realized there are some very nice authentic scarves for a fraction of the cost (and look only for those in good to excellent condition) to cycle through and grow for a wider variety in the closet. Thank you again! Love seeing some of the beauties people are picking up!

Thank you so much for your reply! I asked the seller and she added a photo of the caretag in the listing. I also asked for a detailed photo of the designer’s autograph and copyright but nothing yet… I asked for them again.
