Hi All,

I am new to the forum, so please bear with me if I'm not following proper etiquette/formatting, etc.

When my great-grandmother passed, she left an attic full of clothes, furniture, and accessories. She had a box full of scarves, which I don't generally wear, but thought would be a shame to give away, since she had quite the collection. I was going through them and found one hermes scarf that I would like to have authenticated. She used to work for a wealthy woman that would give her scarves as gifts for holidays. From what I have gathered, it appears to be a 1964 "Avenue des Acacias" Ledoux scarf. I don't know enough about hermes scarves to determine if it is authentic or its value. I have attached a few pictures that may help. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Nicole

Welcome to the Purse Forum. The layout and rules are very confusing for new members. The good news is you don't have to start a thread to authenticate, but this thread is for only authenicating scarves. Bags are authenicated on the thread link below. If you don't follow the posting format at the beginning of the thread, the authenicators may not respond.

http://forum.purseblog.com/authenti...-please-read-rules-use-format-731233-594.html

Only authenticators are allowed to weigh in on whether a specific bag is authentic, but in general I can tell you that an extremely low price is often a sign of a fake. People with authentic Birkins know the value of what they have and just don't let one go cheap.

Good luck.
