Hello, this is a live link but not on eBay - it’s a selling platform called Carousell. Appreciate if this could be authenticated - thanks so much!

Scarf Name: Bolduc au carré
Listing number: N/A
Seller: anshi713
Link: https://carousell.app.link/AeoNVwMSYwb

Thanks again!
No prob with other sellers than ebay
But this one has no closeup photos esp of signature and copyright, should be in corners - this is tricky scarf because it looks almost the same if you rotate it 90, 180, 270 deg - and bottom right corner isd cropped out
I like the caretag but would be remiss if I said t was OK without the other photos

thank you for checking this for me. I have done my research to see if I can even identify the name of this scarf or find it anywhere else and I can’t. I just don’t know old scarves well enough.

Item: clerc scarf ?
Listing number:354525620096
Seller:stepanof-95

I don’t see a logo. Clerc did scarves that are not signed by Hermes, and I presume not “authentic”. Others may have different opinions. The only way to know is to contact Hermes directly, and get through to the archival department, if the force is with you.
Would not be from 1978-1979 in any case

Hello - I obtained the pic of the signature and copyright from the seller - would this help with the assessment? (Pls ignore the blue circle, that’s the seller showing there’s a mark there).

Thanks!

That looks good, i am failing to see the signature photo ? a maybe it is because I have not had my morning coffee lol

No, I thought by signature you meant the ‘Hermes’ bit (and the copyright being the ©️ bit) ‍♀️ I think on balance I will purchase the item. I actually have this scarf in a different colour way, so will do a side by side inspection once I receive it. Thanks so much again! Hope you get your coffee soon

There should be a Latham in a corner of the design, as I stated, people mistakenly rotate the scarf for photos, try looking bottom right, but that corner was cropped out or the scarf may be rotated …
There should also be a whole Hermes Paris on there, top or bottom center IMHO, that is the real logo rather than the innumerable Hermes on the bolducs

I haven’t seen this colourway before. The low price has me wondering as well. I could very much use some expertise in determining the authenticity of this lovely, please.

I suspect it is a real DUJA that was hermesmatically-dyed at the factory before hemming , thus the dip dye caretag
H did that - they RANDOMLY found some printed silk lying around, dyed it and sold at the hermesmatic Pop up stores as pre-fab Hermesmatic scarves
it was not a “standard” cw or anything , just a one off kind of thing , no way to prove my story
That said, the dip dye color is dark , and it is really impossible to compare the features to a real (non dip dyed) DUJA, which would not have this caretag anyway …
so, this one falls into the same category I invented about 6 posts ago, you buy it because it speaks to you, not as a curated investment
