Hi digabbey - if you read the first post of this thread you will see the necessary steps required to authenticate a scarf, one of which is a link to a live auction or listing.
Also, doing a bit of research on Hermes scarves will tell you without a doubt if this scarf is authentic or not. There are many reputable resources about Hermes, one of the best is on Facebook - Hermes Scarf Guides.
But I will save you some time and tell you it is definitely not authentic.

Hi tPF authenticators

I would appreciate your opinion on this scarf. Thank you!

I’m not sure if there is enough in the photos, but if possible, could you please authenticate this scarf? I seem to recall hearing that the scarves are in individual plastic when shipped to stores-if so, this might be ok? Or not... thank you!!!

Seller: GWS Auctions
Hermès la travers champs 140

These pix are not enough to definitely say. However, the QR code appears to work on both items and I think I would pursue it if I wanted the shawl.

I've never bought from them. Are they actually an auction house? Maybe someone bought them at a sale or from a boutique and wanted the plastic bags. I went through a phase where I thought it was cool to have them.

Thanks so much! I figured it was either likely ok, or no way. . No idea how a store-plastic shawl made it to an auction, but oh well! Thanks again!

I think you are safe with this one.
