Without the above information and current for sale status there will be no authentication

Wow, that blows. And I guess you can't end the listing or you would have. Maybe you can notify the bidder and they will bow out.
Right, someone bid on it almost right away, so I was stuck and couldn't end it. I'll just have to hope it works out in the end. As someone who doesn't list often, it's hard to keep up with all their little tricks (I finally figured out that you have to manually turn off the "Best Offer" option if you don't want it). Still, it's my own fault for not previewing the listing.

Thing is, I'm supposed to stick to authenticating the scarf. There is a seller thread under the brand name here. Also, you may be able to find information on the seller if you search their name here.

Thank you for your response  It's this shawl:
https://www.hermes.com/us/en/product/jeu-des-omnibus-remix-shawl-140-H243173Sv06/
The colorway in the listing I posted is no longer for sale on the US h.com but I know it existed because I've seen it in store before. I'm just not familiar at all with this website and don't know if they are legit or not.

Would like to know if this is authentic as well. The composition tag seems to be located in a different location than usual.

Thank you in advance.

I think you still can end the listing. I bid on something once and the seller ended the listing with the reason "item no longer available". It was a Japanese seller that listed on many platforms as well as had a brick and mortar shop.

Would it be possible to authenticate this item?

Item: Jackie O HERMES Silk Scarf F. Faconnet Sun Dial Astrologie Dies Et Hore Blue Vtg
Item # : 264436552472
Seller : silverymoonvintage55 (99.8% positive feedback)
Listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Jackie-O-H...a5b-40e0-b24c-065af2b1c6c6#vi__app-cvip-panel

Comments: I recently bid on it and I am a first time Hermes scarf buyer. The Dies Et Hore pattern instantly struck a chord with me and I was entranced so I wanted it to be my first “luxury” scarf. However I’m worried that it may be inauthentic.

I'm pretty new to the world of Hermes scarf....or I should say, the slippery slope of Hermes Scarf?

I bought one from Hermes website, don't want to get it from anywhere else since I'm so new. Got it and love it!

I then did a lot of research about how to buy Hermes scarf from Ebay and other online resellers, read a lot here in a few weeks' time(thanks to those who share great info). After that I bought 2 more from Ebay. Both arrived so nicely and both felt exactly same as the one I bought from Hermes web. One from a well-known seller here, one from someone who doesn't want the scarf as a gift. Both seem pretty authentic to me and I was very happy.

One day I saw another design(Feria de Sevilla) I really like on the Bbay and found that this seller also has a website. This is a very reputable seller, discussed and referenced in the Seller/Retailer thread many times and authenticated many times in the Hermes scarf authentication thread. Very highly regarded seller. I ended up buying that scarf from his/her facebook store instead of Ebay to save on tax.

Today I got the item. It looks and feels new and never worn as described. Item matches picture perfectly. BUT, the scarf just feels different from all other 3 I have. I don't know how to describe it. It doesn't seem to have the type of sheen other 3 has but it might be due to color since this one has a lot of black. It doesn't drape as well, although the weight is about the same (this one is 69G as compared to the other three at 70G). The fabric surface is all new but feels more coarse and stiff than the other 3 I have. It just feels quite different by touch.

I laid this one against one of the others on bed and this one is longer on one edge by a little, while the other 3 matches almost perfectly.

Another issue I noticed is that the part of the tag is sewed in and can't see the Y in string "DRY Clean Only".

Something just doesn't feel right. Could I possibly get a fake?:-s

I really had no such doubt when I made the purchase as this is a well known seller. But with the item in my hands, I couldn't help but feeling this way.

Should I contact the seller and bring up my doubts and just ask frankly? Could it possibly be a quality control issue at Hermes or at this seller? Or what I described are pretty normal?

Any advice for my situation would be great appreciated!
