Ladies, can you please help me with this scarf? Got it from an upscale consignment store. No care tag, and a strange white discoloration around one of the hems. Thank you in advance for your expertise.

Not an expert at all, but wow is this Chevaux de Karnak? There is some confusion about this design and whether the new release is a reissue, a mousseline or a GM......
It appears to be a Chevaux de Karnak. However I am not sure if it is authentic. I do not think the edges are hand sewn. Do you know if Hermes made scarves that are not hand sewn?

Sorry, I'm not an authenticator so I can't help you with the hem question, but the design is NOT Chevaux de Karnak. It's quite old actually - Chantilly, by Henri d'Origny, issued in 1980. You can see Origny's signature in one of your pics. Luxury Scarves has the same CW here: http://luxury-scarves.com/en/10_database/colorway.php?ID=1096 (hope the link is OK with the mods)

Thank you for your input! Thanks for the link, too!

Dear experts,

Could you please help me with this scarf?

Item: hermes silk scarf paperoles equestrian horses beautiful rich red
Item No: 321097677372
Seller: kedders007
Link:http://www.ebay.ca/itm/321097677372?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_500wt_1202

Comment: I made the offer and it was accepted. Probably not a smart thing to do...but I just love the design so much..
Only two pics and not in high quality. The seller has been on ebay since 2003 and not a professional seller. If it's authentic, my best guess is that it's her own stuff.
Also, is it reasonable for me to ask for more pics after I already made the offer?

Thanks.

Dear ladies, I just got this scarf so could you please take a look at it when you have time?:p Thanks a lot.

There's no tag. Also what does that 24 on the box stand for(the last pic). I didn't see any number in some other boxes.
