Oh, ok. But the finds thread says we can only post stuff that has been authentified? I'm still trying to find my way around here :)

I did some on work on this topic ... Per the mods, posts to the finds thread should be of items you are reasonably confident are authentic . And authentications are for items you are reasonably looking to purchase

Many posters to the finds thread are old hands at scarves, and they do not seek authentication ahead of time, because they are confident in their finds. A find on the Hermes site is obviously OK.

So, in your case, you found a scarf of interest others, but were not sure of authenticity.. May I suggest a compromise - you share the find privately with those interested , then they can ask for authenticity if they are looking to buy ...

This would really help me a lot ... I actually do take a certain amount of time to consider some scarves before making up my mind , and there are not enough hours in the day to this for the entire finds thread thanks

Thanks for the clarification! I'll follow your advice from now :)

The Instruction du Roy raises no red flags with me, but there are no details shown in the pix, please do post pix of the hem - I am a hem freek lOL, and the caretag - when you get them . You will get bonus points for pix of the signature and copyright

At least I know this cw was made, but checking the details makes all the difference. , for all I know it has been faked in this cw

Another one where the photos are crummy but raise no red flags

You could ask for more photos ...

I hate to discuss price but I looked it up ... current retail is 250 euros so the sellers price at 240 is almost full retail .. so , take that into account

Hi lovely ladies, I asked about this scarf a little while ago and I was going to leave it, but the seller has posted more photos and re listed the scarf. Would you mind taking another look please?

thanks
