Dear Authenticators, hoping to call on your expertise once again:

Scarf: Aladin silk
Ebay Seller: virpir1962
Ebay Listing number: 261627450170

I know this is a vintage scarf and have had trouble finding info (did find a reference on luxury-scarves). The pictures are not great, but would appreciate any opinion you can give on its authenticity. Thank you in advance!

This one is authentic

We do not authenticate bought items ... yes, I must gently chide you for jumping the gun ... This seller will gladly answer questions

Please ask before buying. Buying first and authenticating after is a guaranteed recipe for headache. That is one reason we will not do it.

There are many helpful resources at TPF too :

Thank you for your time and information marietouchet. I apologize for wasting your time. I did not know that this thread didn't authenticate sold items. I should have checked! Each forum is so different...

You are totally right to chide me for jumping the gun! I did know that this was a very reputable seller. A very knowledgeable Hermes collector had recommended her site. And, helped me with the scarf. I was only double checking.

I promise to only inquire before purchasing I the future. Thank you for your time and expertise.

Hi ladies, would you please have a look and tell me if this is authentic?
The seller has not a lot of feedback, no previous Hermes sales and also provided only two photos.
Normally I would shy away, but I have been looking for this cw and design...

Thank you in advance

This is also NOT an authentication LOL

The photos are useless - absolutely no detail shown , ughhhh

A lot of fakes look real good in bad photos

This is a 2014SS scarf , call the stores for one ... or maybe it is on the web site... The design is 6 mos old so has likely been faked

This is NOT an authentication ... LOL I am no expert on the t shirt scarves ...
I have a vague memory they were done in the Guepards design and this acution raises no red flags BUT ...

Yes... I searched through here and it appears it was done in at least two colorways - grey and a green. But for that price (or any price) you want to make sure it's authentic!

I dont pay much attention to some of these unusual formats and prefer not to pretend to have an opinion in that case Sometimes, NOT always, I have the time to research an exotic partially for my own curiosity

But failing that you need to look at the expertise of the seller - the reputable sellers list is a gold mine for that I know some who have sold many of the t shirt scarves - they have the scarves in hand, which makes a world of difference when you can see it IRL

Thank you so much. I feel that I should leave it; listen to the instinct!

I am in Australia and cannot seem to chase one of these down!

I appreciate your time,

take care
