Comments: I was wondering if this is something made sewing a scarf, of what. I am NOT interested really in this item, is just to know if Hermès has made something similar, and in case...how one must wear it? Thanks.
I've never seen anything like this. However, that doesn't necessarily mean it's not authentic. DDC?

Comments: Just wanted you loverly ladies to take a quick look at this one and also to check the issue date. Is this the first issue from 1973 or another year? It arrived today and, though in way less than "perfect" condition, it's still gorgeous and the price was right for this one in jacquard. Thanks!
PSYCHO!!!! Happy New Year. Based on the care tag, I'd say it's the first issue. I love this jacquard. Did you know Romantique was done in three different jacquards (this one, firework and what I call scallop) and also flat?

WOO HOO!! Thanks, SDSC! Hope you're having a great New Year, too. :smile1:

I did know about the different jacquards and the plain version, but never was sure which one was the first issue. I sort of thought it was this one as I've got the La Cle des Champs with the H jacquard (in my avatar) and understand that's from 1965, so I was hopeful this was from 1973. Holy smokes! That's the year I graduated from high school...forty years ago. I feel so old all the sudden. :wtf:

PS: His photos don't do this one justice. The colorway is a glorious shade of peach, not orange like it looks in the pics.

Hi everyone!
So here is the story of this scarf. I came to find it by mistake 2 days ago at a thrift store. I partially saw it on their website and asked for more photos of which they sent. I did my research to find out it is the "Voyage en Russie" scarf. I noticed they did a few different colors and I have found the red border one. Considering that this scarf was reissued by Hermes, I was trying to figure out if it was the original 1984/5 or the reissue because of the way the copyright was done and also it has the initials of the artist unlike some of the reissues I've seen that has the artist's name. I'm not an expert but I wanted to get as much info as possible from whoever might take a look at the photos and could help me authenticate it. (Yes I did buy it.) Any information is greatly appreciated!

I thought the original issue was called "Voyages Slaves." You might ask in reference or identification threads. And maybe DDC, Lemur or one of our readers knows.

Dear Authenticators, I'd love to have your opinion regarding the authenticity of the following scarf.
Item: Hermes Etriers in red black and gold
Listing number:n/a
Seller: Consignor offering to Hello Gorgeous Consignment Boutique for resale
Link: NA- see attached photos
Weight: 66g, dimensions: 86x88cm
Comments: Everything looks spot-on to my amateur eyes except the missing artist signature and copyright mark on the lower right corner. I do not want to accept for consignment if it is not authentic. Thanks

Thank you @SDsurfchick. Hopefully some more info will come this way. I just looked up "Voyages Slaves" and it does look like "Voyages en Russie" and it looks like both were issued in 1984. It's so confusing.

Yes I had the same feeling!!
Even if someone wanted to use a damaged scarf is so strange!
It's really a strange cut. There's ceramique ottomane, but is not the only scarf I recognise here.

Hello ladies, I need your help with this scarf, it's one of my HG scarves, and in the CW I was looking for. Thank you very much in advance.

this is authentic.
sales scarves retail for 180 EUR. You will see many sales scarves from the spring summer 2011 on ebay as they had been at the sales.

May I ask if perhaps my question on pg 14 (the Cirque Molier one) was skipped for a particular reason? If so, I will know not to pester with a repeat question. It's just that I'm still within the timeframe of returning if it's fake, so I'd like to know. Thanks.
