Please read the first post before posting per p.1 in this thread (Dec 20 2012),

You will need to follow form for an answer. Form per p.1 in this thread (Dec 20 2012) or below:
1. ALL Authentication requests require an active link to a currently For Sale item.


2. Before you submit a request for authentication, please make sure listing includes necessary photos. If listing lacks these details- ask Seller for extra photos prior to authentication request.

Necessary Photos*:
Title, Hermès Paris, artist signature, copyright, hems (including corner), fabric caretag, close-up of fabric weave, and full flat scarf photo.

*Identifying marks may be absent on some scarves. Include as much as possible on list that is present on scarf in question.
(Authenticators might request additional pictures and/or information in order to assist with authentication.)

Please also note:
  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to assess condition and decide if it’s acceptable.
  • Prices, valuations and details will not be discussed.

Dear authenticators,

Could you please take a look at the photos below?

This is a recent acquisition of mine, and while everything looks right to my eye, the silk has an odd, flimsy feel to it - not at all what I'm used to. But it is a 23-year-old scarf and looks much used, and was probably much washed (there are some discolorations and fading marks), so perhaps this is normal? Please note there is no care tag.

an extra picture of the copyright would have been lovely, but I think this is authentic (with the wrong caretag re-attached :graucho:)
(this is OT, but I can't resist - if I would get 20 USD for any H paper bag I have, I would be rich :graucho:)
 
This is indeed most unusual. I am aware of the Mousse GM, but have never seen this Mousse stole. I would love to better pics. Did you buy it?
Thanks damedeCoeur. I did buy it and will post better pictures when it arrives. I love the pattern and that it's mousse. I'm not sure about the "double-ness" - seems like a mistake and makes me want to cut it (but I won't):p
