thanks for your help;)

Reasons are not discussed, please do not PM the authenticators either for additonal questions. Just move on :smile1:

If you are interested in a Birkin, you can take a look at this thread:

And also the Reputable Sellers list is a good place to start:

A Birkin does not come cheap, so please do your homework and come here for authentication before comitting to purchase.

No, we don't give out tips on this forum ... we don't know who is reading our posts and therefore we could be identifying areas that the fakesters can improve on - we also do not pm members with details .... it is 100 pct guaranteed fake

How would picking this up in person assure you that this item is authentic or fake ... you are unable to authenticate it yourself, so her offer to you is not going to help you in anyway.

This thread is for authenticators to try and assist other members by simply authenticating items, not to provide details and if you still prefer to trust your own judgement, we can't help you further, sorry

Ok now i understand why you don't want to discuss here the details ....but why not in a private PM ?
as for why picking it up my self would change anything , trust me i live in Paris and see Birkins and Hermes all the time and if i see it in person i will know for sure if its fake or not. I have seen Hermes fakes everywhere from Japan, to NY to paris, munich etc... but i was just curious how you judge the authenticily by looking at a picture.

Are you certain about that?............ I am not an authenticator, but that particualar bag is such a BAD FAKE.............everything on that bag screams FAKE FAKE FAKE.... If you like to go and see the bag IRL, by all means go ahead and do that.........but you have been given the best of advice here from one of the best authenticators (flossyfigaro, of course)..........

Regarding PMing the details of why the bag is FAKE, how can the authenticators knows who is PMing them, those people could be people who makes FAKE bags and trying to get the details to improve on their FAKEROO............ ;)

This is fake per Flossy but tbparis ... and everyone ... I can't stress enough to not only look at the bag but look at the seller. This seller has a 20% feedback!!! When you see this ... just move on to someone reliable!

So i guess what you are telling me here is that i should just trust the authenticators here... with no questions asked.... is there at least a list of their credentials as why they are the experts and should be trusted with no questions asked ? again this is just my curiosity sorry !!

tbparis, if you really cannot tell from these glaringly obvious pictures that this Birkin is a fake, meeting the seller in person is not going to help you one way or the other .... this fake is so bad, I would expect any member who currently owns an authentic Hermes Birkin to be able to spot the signs

So i guess what you are telling me here is that i should just trust the authenticators here... with no questions asked.... is there at least a list of their credentials as why they are the experts and should be trusted with no questions asked ? again this is just my curiosity sorry !!

Please feel free to purchase away .... you have come to this forum of your own free will asking for help ... we gave you it, you don't like it .... nothing more we can do

Dear Kallie, yes i was concerned about the feedback as well, but then again i have heard that some power sellers with excellent feedbacks have been selling fakes. so my only point that i could really push with her was to ask to pick it up in person and be able to see the bag upclose. I had done that with several sellers before and most refused which for me was a red flag. but when this one agreed i thought well hummmm maybe i should check it out !!!

Powerselling has nothing to do with anything. Being a reputable seller of H is not about how many you sell but if you are familiar with the brand enough to know a fake if one should accidentally get in your hands. The powersellers you speak of are likely eBay drop off-type places and they don't know H at all, usually.

This seller has the worst feedback I have ever seen. I can't imagine wanting to do business with such a person.

And she/he sold another 40 black (fake) Birkin recently ... check out the feedback on that transaction.

It is not possible to buy an authentic Birkin for $3,000 unless maybe it has been run over by a truck.

This probably should be discussed on the "Ebay Sellers" thread ...

Dear Flossy , you comment is very true i have come with my own free will and i will do what i need to do as to making a decision. But what i hear from you is " if you don't like it then too bad" and i understand you point.
i guess what i was expecting here was a bit more clarification.
Just to let you know i went to my doctor last year and he told me that i had breast cancer and he had to take out both my breast RIGHT AWAY. her is a doctor with a diploma and everything... had i not asked more questions and gotten some solid facts i would have been out of two breast today and a misdiagnosis for a disease i did not have. OFCOURSE BUYING A BAG IS NOT THE SAME...... but perhaps this explains why i need to have some hard facts before i believe anyone. but don't worry i will move on and will go to see the bag in person when i am in NY next week, will keep you posted ;)
