Even if someone did tell you the characteristics about your unfortunate purchase that identify it as fake, Paypal isn't going to take that as proof. You might try contacting My Poupette or CarolDiva for a letter. Paypal has been known to accept that.

And Hermes boutiques in the US won't give you a letter, either.

Thanks mistikat! I had written the seller asking about the palladium lock; she says it is actually gold and took more pictures showing the true color. It's weird that they are clearly much lighter than the hardware on the bag though! Maybe not original to the bag? :shrugs:

This seller is a scammer.:mad: Uses different eBay IDs and sets up fake eBay accounts.

Their Hermes Birkin is an obvious fake Hermes Birkin and can easily be proven that it's counterfeit. Seller is claiming their fake Hermes Birkin is authentic trying to scam PayPal along with eBay, and you as well. This seller needs to be turned into the authorities.

Maybe you can PM one of the experts and they can advise you on what to do. There's several things you can do that I could give you info on for help, but you're not allowed to receive PMs since you're new to the forum.

Here's the same color fake Hermes Birkin that was sold to you being sold by a different seller under a different selling ID. This seller has the same fake Hermes Birkin listed twice in separate auctions with bids.

Contact Carol Diva, get a letter from her that this bag is not authentic. Do a lot of research and get help from others how to proceed with filing Paypal dispute. This is a large amount to be lost to that scammer :mad:

All of two hours has passed from your first request. This is a volunteer effort to answer posts. I think that you should be a bit more patient before reposting.

In both cases the pictures are insufficient to determine authenticity.

I'm sorry if I appeared impatient, it just seemed that the posts around my post were all answered, so I thought maybe mine accidentally got skipped over.

I plan on requesting some more pictures from the sellers, what parts of the bag will help with authentication? Thank you.
