Thank you both. GraceKelly, i just wanna know whether is it authentic or not. I understand it is special order as per what you have said. But end of the day, you did not advise whether is it authentic or not.

But thanks for educating me on the knowledge of Special order as I didn't know it can be done..

Would like to confirm if this is a fake? Seller insists that this is authentic and she has sold several H items like scarves and silk ties. She currently has other H items listed too (Scarves).

Not sure how to use this:
saw an advert selling a birkin looks authentic to me but not sure. The lady I want to buy it from says it was a gift awhile back and her and her boyfriend are desperate for the money so is a private sale.
I dont know what other info to add, there are more close-up pictures but the files are too big apparently

The hardware on the back reads 2C, and then there is a H in a box.............hope that helps????

Hi annipersian and welcome to tPF! Trying to find an authentic Birkin can sometimes be a challenge, can't it!

The good ladies here who authenticate want to help you but they need your help, too. Because they cannot see the bag in person, they need lots of specific information to help them make a determination.

If you will look at post #1 in this thread, all of the information they need is listed. It is unlikely that they can say one way or another with what you have provided so far. They will want to know where you saw the advertisement. Listing the price will also help. I believe it is all detailed in post #1.

As you mentioned, you have close up pictures and if too large to post directly, perhaps you can host them at Photobucket and then post the image links here.
