Item:Fendi Sporty Bag 8BR091 - Zucca Brown NWT
Item #: 110431529060
Seller: ct5828
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110431529060

i wrote the seller and asked him about the "stock photo" and i asked for pics of the actual bag.

this is the reply:
"it is a stock picture. Our bags come directly from our factory so I don't
have pictures from the exact bag that would be sent. I do guarantee that it is authentic and new."

Red flag???? or safe??? :confused1::confused1:

^^mzedith, that's a RED FLAG.
STAY AWAY!! "our factory?" what, does he OWN the Fendi factory now?

the seller said they buy directly from Fendi.

i asked:
"great deal on the bag, goodness, sounds to good to be true.. KWIM?
questions run through my head, is it a Fendi second? defective, and how do
you guarrentee authentic? if i can't see the actual pictures of the bag, i
personal can't get it authenticated by my purse forum experts. if i decide
to purchase the bag, what is the policy to return if i get it authenticated
and it turns out to fake?"

reply:
"
you have one week from purchase to return the bag if for any reason you are
unhappy. Because we buy directly from Fendi we are able to sell them
cheaper. We choose to offer great deals instead of charging huge prices."

^^Fendi would NEVER, NEVER sell current/new merchandise to retailers that would DISCOUNT it.

It's one thing for Fendi to pass on old merchandise to companies like Loehmann's or even DSW, but if this is factory fresh, why would Fendi discount it?

Also, luxury retailers have very strict rules about markups and "suggested retail prices." This is why Neiman Marcus and Saks sell the same items for the same price.

need pics of hologram tag & leather serial # strip.

Compared to mine (an authentic), the leather is WAAAAYYY too smooth on the flap and the close up to be real (it has an irregular medium sized mottled grain and is softer than the fakes I've seen). Also my dustcovers have always been black with small yellow logo in bottom right-hand corner.

:s

(sorry, first time posting here - I thought it would post the original question: oops! ... I was referring to http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230373440039&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT)

Highly doubtful - would need to see clear, close up pics of the hologram and leather serial strip...but I'm sure you won't get them...
