Help: a local (australia) consignment place called me about a Fendi Spy. I have no doubts about authenticity as I have bought from her before but this time the SPY has this leather tab (serial) 2573 8BR511RRU 058 which a lot of fakes seems to have. I googled it.
Is it just because this serial number been copied by counterfeiters?

Will need to see the pics for sure, but # on the hologram tag is a highly faked number. I'm pretty sure your bag is fake...
This is my first time hunting for the perfect spy bag, but something about this bag makes me a bit skeptical about bidding on it. Please let me know if it's authentic. Maybe it's because the price of the bag is so low? I would love a white spy bag but i know those are hard to come by.

Sf - I agree with ACCIO, I am pretty sure it is a fake bag, not because of the leather tab, but the hologram code is all wrong.....

i was doing a bit of hunting and found this listing for a Cognac Spy. the listing is missing a pic of the leather serial tag, so i requested it from the seller. what throws me off is the authenticity card. unless they changed the cards for newer bags? i won't know until i get a pic of the leather serial tag. But don't the cards usually say "Nappa" and not "Lamb"? it Also says "small Spy" And the date is not on the card either.

your correct. here is the serial strip provied by the seller.., it's from 2005.
