He/She said that their camera could not pick up the details of the bag, but the seller did give me some information, maybe you guys can further authenticate the bag with this info.....

I tried to get some better pictures but don't have the best digital camera for capturing such fine detail. The serial number on a black leather tab in the bag reads 2384-8BH144-RG5-058. The hologram logo has an A and under it 308068. There are no rips, tears or stains on the inside of the bag. It is in excellent condition on the inside and all stitching is intact. This bag sells with the original store receipt as well. Thank you for a great question."

Hi there!
What about this Mamma Baguette? There is neither a hologram nor a serial code strip, but only a silver code printed on the lining (which is without any Fendi Logo).

Never never never put any credence in "receipts" when trying to determine authenticity. They are easily faked & copied...
I'm pretty sure this bag is a Fake Spy Bag.....;) I have been reviewing FENDI bags for over 4 years now & this one has a # of things wrong with it already....

I work for a charity in the UK, and we had this bag donated a few weeks ago. We've taken it to a few stores, and they say it checks out, but obviously we need to be 100% sure before we can sell it.

A couple of things bug me, mainly the lipstick case and the hologram, but I've never seen a Fendi Spy Bag before so I've not got much room for comparison. Bear in mind that this bag is obviously in a used condition.

Fritz, this bag is definitely Not Real....many things wrong including hologram tag & lipstick tip & fonts & features & lining....just to name a few...:tdown:

Guess I have some bad news to break tomorrow. As unlikely as it was, people were hoping someone had donated a real bag! Sad to see my suspicions were correct, still, bad news is better than a lawsuit.

Thanks for the speedy response, you can rest assured that the bag will be dealt with appropriately now.

Edit - Would you mind going into more detail on the things you mentioned? I'm going to have to make a strong case about this tomorrow, and the more information about the warning signs I have, the better chance I stand.
