Hi Experts,
I have a couple of questions regarding Fendi serial numbers. I noticed that there are 2 bags which I found on Ebay have almost identical serial numbers. They are as follows :
a. 2373 8BN144 RX4 059 (purple leather magic bag)
b. 2415 8BN144 RX4 059 (brown leather magic bag)
Does it mean one of the bags is fake? (I thought only the 8BN144, being the model number should be the same, and the rest should have different numbers and alphabets.)
What do all these (2373, 2415), RX4 and 059 signify?

No, these do not mean one of the bags are fake. The 2373 & 2415 are colour codes. 8BN144 is the model #, and the 059 is the year it was produced (2005).

They are all the same bag...depends on the person who is measuring the bag...where they start, where they stop...the bag is not rectangular, so the measurements will vary depending on the person doing the measuring...
