Need to see a clear, close-up pic of the hologram to confirm...the pic they provided is too small and dark. I don't have a good feeling about it though...

Yes, the bag you posted pictures of is definitely fake

accio, what is it that makes the hobo look like a fake. just want to let the seller know the points as she thinks I am making it up,

Well, there are many different reasons, but I can't divulge all of them, lest the fakers learn how to make better fakes...but Fendi did not start to use the hologram/leather serial strip combination until 2003. Pre-2003 serial numbers were stamped into the lining in gold or silver ink, not on a strip. The date on the pleather serial strip on your bag indicates it was made in 2000.

oh...thanks for that note. At least I can let the seller know this and that it is from someone who know Fendi throughly. She doesn't seem to believe my points and still wants to take it to her local fendi to authenticate eventhough I already took it to my fendi and they even wrote on a fendi bill with store address stating that the bag is a fake. Only thing is that the store SA forgot to put the serial number on the note which I too forgot. Thanks for the tip.

Hey Accio, I got more pics for the blueberry piece. Can you help check it out? I am thinking of this or the white but redyed. I am still leaning to the blue for ease of use.

Here's what the seller said:
as i told you i bought this for £600 from ebay almost 2 years ago. i used to take it to fendi store but the staff said it is the store policy worldwide they don't authenticate any items that were not bought from fendi stores. i never get it authenticated. i am happy with its quality though.

Hi accio,
Here's the pic of the number in addition to the other pics quoted below. It was located on the inside pocket, on the left, front side, horizontal and upside down, if YKWIM...
I have no idea if it is of help because it has worn out for most of the part, but it seems to be silver colored printed numbers.
Waiting for your opinion... :smile1:

Hi gals,
I took a chance on ebay on a leopard Fendi w/o seeing the hologram& number, seller had great fb and assured it was authentic. It was a great deal because of the stain on the back. Today I received it, but I have real doubts it is authentic. I can't find a number/hologram inside and the quality of the lining and hardware seems different than my own fendi's. Is it even possible that there is no number and hologram?
Anyway, here are pics, please let me know what to do with it, I did pay with pp, so I hope I'm safe...

accio, you have a blueberry one too right? what do you think about this one? Also you had a white ivory one too right? What do you think about that?

sherryloh, the blue one is definitely fake. There are so many things that don't jibe on this bag. To satisfy you though, I ran it by one of the senior authenticators, Litigatrix (she and baglady.1 taught me all I know :p) and she agrees that it is fake  The fact that the seller never got it authenticated herself proves that she has no idea. And just because she's happy with the quality of it, doesn't make it authentic. :nogood:

ok thanks accio. I am noq at ease and will strike that off the list and probably get the white ivory although I am concern about caring for it. Thanks so much for checking it out. I really really appreciate it. You saved me from a major migraine or a seizure.
