Please help authenticate this Fendi, the is a seller on Craigslist and she says she doesnt have time to come with me to the Fendi store to authenticate her wallet, and if its fake I just need to contact her and get her to return my money....of course I'm going to get her to come with me to authenticate it anyway =)
This Wallet is highly faked, so I can't tell 100% if it is real, but it looks pretty good. If you decide to purchase, make sure the leather feels wonderful and not like plastic. The code says it is from the 2003 season. ;)

Taylor, that Borsa Sweet does look almost Identical to the real thing....the Replicators in China & Europe work overtime it seems to make fake bags. We don't like to point out the specific details that are wrong or the Replicators will make their fakes Even Better!

Accio & I prefer to have members submit bags pics detailed for review, but mostly we can only do those from late 1990s to present day. On this particular bag, the Hologram Tag & Code is just all wrong, that is my "hint" - ;)

Thank you baglady! Oops.... I didn't even think about that!! :blushing:

I own a new/resale clothing and accessories store, and I get a lot of high end bags, but I don't know Fendi very well. My consignment client told me this was a "vintage Fendi," but I don't know...

It feels very cheap, but as I said, I don't know Fendi. Any info (date/name/material) would be appreciated, and thanks so much in advance!

Also, were the clips inside supposed to secure a handle?

If it feels really cheap - that answers your question.....;)

Fendi bags are very pricey and are well constructed for the most part. My vintage pieces are like heaven! The leather is super nice. We like to see a serial # in the bag to authenticate older bags like this, so if you can't locate the # (usually in metallic ink) and it feels cheap, I would not pass it off as a real FENDI. That is just my opinion. :smile1:

We don't usually give opinions on Scarfs, but this one looks pretty good to me, except I should mention it is Vintage. Fendi hasn't used the Yellow tags for at least 8-9 years, plus the colors.... ;)

thank you, i had no idea it was so old lol i know nothing about fendi lol. thank you for your reply i also didnt know you dont authenticate scarves so im sorry, Please forgive me lol

Mink...Sable...or Rabbit?

Here is the story...The bag was given to me by a friend in Miami who's roommate left the bag behind along with some other things in exchange for back rent. The story is that she got the bag in exchange for work done on a fashion gig. I took it to Bloomingdales in SF and the saleswoman at the Fendi dept examined it and said it was authentic. I have run the serial number on the web and came up with nothing and have not found any pictures of similar bags. I intend to gift this bag if it is fake or not, I just want to know what I am giving. I personally find it hard to believe that Fendi ever made a bag this flashy. Though the bag looks and feels high quality I wouldnt doubt that it was a well made fake

Details- Serial number-2373-8bk043-lt9-049
has hologram with number below- 979917 with Fendi written in yellow along with "label guarantees the authenticity of the garment" in English and Italian. All hardware (even the tiny rivets) has Double F or Fendi and 'made in Italy' and is covered in plastic protective covering. Has satin lining and satin protective bag. All stitching is straight. There are no blemishes.

What do you think?

Need to see clear, close-up pics of the hologram and leather serial strip so that we can see the numbers to confirm. The pics you've provided are too blurry...

Additional pics, (sorry, Iphone)

If it is real, what would something like this retail for?

And what kind of fur is it?

Thank you.
It is an authentic FENDI. But FENDI uses many types of Furs & this is a unique (LE) bag from the 2004 season so I could not tell you. Either FENDI or a Furrier might be able to help. I could not price it for you either since it is a bag that is no longer sold by FENDI.

Thank you, you have been very helpful! '04' is the correct time period. I have been holding this bag for three years. It will make someone very happy except I dont know anyone who would tote a bag of this style. Perhaps I will look to trade it for one that is more conservative.
