Hi All,

I have only just found this website (read about it from one of the sellers on eBay). I really need help and assistance from all you, experts on Fendi bags.

I have bought a Fendi bag, advertised by a seller as authentic and what I received was a cheap fake, escalated my claim to a PayPal and they wanted me to find a 3rd party to confirm it was a fake. I have submitted some evidence and received a letter today saying this evidence was not sufficient.

I don't live in London, there no stores that sell Fendi bags where I live, also I would feel extremel (silly) if I brought a fake bag to such a store asking them about its authenticity.

Please could you help me to identify what I bought is a fake, I also require this information for PayPal (PLEASE PLEASE help me if anyone can), you assistance will be truly appreciated.

In order to continue with the investigation of your complaint, we must
request documentation to support your claim that the item is not authentic.
Please obtain a document from an unbiased, third-party, such as a dealer,
appraiser, or another individual or organization that is qualified in the
area of the item in question (other than yourself), which clearly
identifies the item as not authentic. If possible, the document should
include a serial number and description of the item, and must be on
letterhead that includes the name, address, and phone number of the
individual, business, or organization so that PayPal may contact them if
necessary.

^^ The organization that they accept is called My Poupette. I had a similar claim and MP knows how to handle everything with Paypal. I don't know if Paypal accepts authentication from tPF...anyone know? I was wondering this myself...

Unfortunately, we don't do letters of inauthenticity -- just informal assessments (although we are very accurate!). You should contact mypoupette.com or caroldiva.com and ask them to provide you with a letter of inauthenticity.

Thank you so much for this information x. I honestly had no idea such sites existed. I will contact mypoupette.com.

Please could I ask you for a favour? As I am very short on time, my claim started in December, could anyone write me a informal assessment and in the mean time I will contact mypoupette.com, I just need to provide PayPal with some sort of evidence for now.

Is it possible? What do I need to provide you with? Your assistance will be really appreciated. In all honesty, I don't want to leave this matter for numerous reasons, the seller showed no remorse and thinks he can get away with anything, PayPal (as a credit company) did not provide me with the support I hoped for and even my husband had no belief in me winning this case from the very start. Does it mean if I sell it back on ebay I will get away with it? Shocking.

I'm sorry, but you need to get the letter from my poupette or caroldiva. I would contact both of them and see which can provide you with the letter more quickly. Nothing that I could provide you would meet Paypal's requirements, so I'm not sure what the point would be. And I wouldn't try and resell it on eBay, since selling counterfeit merchandise is illegal.

Authenticated by Baglady1 on post 3252 about three weeks ago. Bag arrived this weekend. It's beautiful and although I'm sure it's fine, I'm posting here for peace of mind. Posting the link to my photobucket in case these aren't enough: http://s494.photobucket.com/albums/rr301/stjohnnut/spy/?albumview=grid
Thanks a bunch!
