I felt the same way you did about 1. Something seems off.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but Fendi actually did make this style bag and this one doesn't look off to me at first glace. But like Accio said, we need to see more pics.

Yeahhh, I knew they did make it.. but satin/silk or not, that bag looks way, way too shiny and flimsy to be real. Ah well, I guess I'm wrong!

fendi bags and some accessories have laser printed label and serial number printed on leather tag. Ask for pictures on that. But I have to let you know that I have never seen any Fendi b buckle like this.
Play safe, buy from boutique or second hand stores (reputable ones).
I get mine from boutiques only.

This one was up and then down and now back up on ebay. I don't think anyone got a chance to authenticate it. Seems a little suss already!

I actually did authenticate it -- it looks good. eBay has a lot of reasons they remove listings that don't really have anything to do with whether the item is authentic or not. In fact, if we were to assume it was removed for inauthenticity, that would imply that we thought that eBay actually knew how to identify such bags (and cared, for that matter).

KHX - I have seen this FENDI Spy IRL & it has a plastic coated sort of exterior. FENDI calls it a coated crepe or satin exterior, but it does have a synthetic look & feel to it on the body of the bag. But IRL it does not look fake at all - just "different". The striped parts are Spalmati (coated canvas) and is more of a sturdy material. The handles are the traditional woven leather....I remember these being sold at ELuxury and Saks new a few years ago.

Hologram numbers are unique, but leather strip numbers are not. Some of the meanings are 8BR511 -- model number. The 07 in 079 means it was manufactured in 2007.
