ummm, no it wasn't, if you look i'm in the uk !
anyhoo, my initials are SLR
:p

OK, well point being it was custom made for someone who is not the poster inquiring. Non-custom green spys can be had for about half the price and do not have someone else's initials embroidered into them. I agree that it is a beautiful bag, but it's not brand new (made in 2007 -- 2 years ago) and was not custom made for any new buyer. It's a beautiful bag, but I agree with accio that it is overpriced.

Hiya,
I just got this bag from my mum, who was cleaning out her wardrobe. Could someone please tell me if it is authentic. And if it is real, how much is it worth and where can i sell it? It seems to have everything except the hologram - the tab is there but no hologram... can it be seen with the naked eye?

here are some photos and thanks in advance for your help :)

Heavens, no!!!  Didn't you post this earlier today? I agree with Litagatrix that it's a terrible fake!

Hey all!!

I was wondering when fendi started putting holograms on their bags. I have a black and grey mamma baguette that I puchased on ebay a few months ago. It has a serial number in the inside zipper compartment, but no hologram. If the bag doesn't have a hologram does this automatically mean its a fake? The bag feels very high quality but i know they are making fakes better and better all the time.

Thanks!!
Shari:p

You would need to take photos and post them here if you want us to authenticate your bag. Fendi started using holograms around 2003-04, but that does not really tell us anything about your bag in particular.

I bought this Chef bag several years ago from pinchrosemary (I hope I can post the seller's name, otherwise could the mods edit my post?). Anyway, I was quite certain this was authentic until I was searching one day for the hologram tag. It doesn't have one! Could this bag still be authentic even though there is only the leather serial number? Please let me know if I need other pictures. I really appreciate your help and expertise!

They started using holograms around 2003-04, and this bag appears to be from 2003. It may have been made during a transitional period after they started using leather strips, but before they started using holograms. I don't see anything else about this bag that looks off, so I am inclined to say it is authentic. Maybe baglady.1 will also give her opinion.

I'm new to this forum and am not sure if this is authentic. I am researching what to look for but don't know how to ID what the baguette is called.

My boyfriend received this as a trade for some work he did and he gave it to me. I'd like to research it's value so I can sell it and buy something more to my taste.

Thanks in advance. :smile1:

Thanks so much for your help! I didn't realize that someone else has the same concern! What a strange coincidence! ( I wasn't paying attention to what was just posted because I was busy trying to remember how to post photos...). I'll wait for baglady.1. You guys are so great to help us out!
