I looked through my collection of about 10-15 different era vintage Fendi & photos, but I cannot find an identical leather medallion on any of my pre or post serial vintage bags, to the one on your bag. I'd be leaning towards fake. Sorry.

Thanks for looking i've already purchased it as it was buy-it-now at such a good price i couldn't let it go. I already have a spy so tried to do my own detective work and it looked good to me hopefully all will be fine, i will post pics once i receive it and get your opinion but so far so good ...fingers crossed
