Hello authenticity experts,

I have a Fendi B bag situation that is freaking me out.

I purchased this bag on Ebay 2-3 years ago. I did not have it authenticated first because I purchased from a seller that had a good rep on the forum and so I felt there was no need to.

Only carried this bag once or twice because it was a much brighter color than I expected and I just wasnt in love. Anyway, I havent even looked at it in over a year and I take it out of it's dustbag and the metallic exterior is completely falling apart!:wtf:

I know metallic bags to be prone to some fading and or scratching but this is crazy and now I'm doubting it's authenticity...

What do you think? (hardware/tags pic coming in next post)

yikkies.. We need to see clear close up pics of the leather serial strip and hologram tag. Although BL1 or A.S. might be able to tell if you need to bother posting those pics.

Agree with Edith, the B Bag is authentic. So sorry about the finish peeling off....what gives there?!? :crybaby:
the metallic finishes do tend to be a bit fragile....but this is really surprising! Was it in a moist storage environment?:sad:

It is a relief to hear that the bag is authentic. At least I haven't been cyber victimized...

I wouldn't consider it to be particularly moist here, I'm no scientist, the air feels pretty normal to me. :smile1: Seriously, I'm in NYC, it's not humid enough to warrant that kind of destruction.

Do you think Fendi would be able to do anything to fix it if I took it to the store?

I purchased the bag on ebay because I needed a small bag asap and it looked authentic. I never purchased fendi bags online because I know how many fakes are out there, so I would greatly appreciate if you could take a look and confirm that it's real. The seller has a good feedback and once I got the bag, the authenticity sticker and the tag looks exactly like on my other fendi bags purchased directly from the Fendi store. The only thing that concerns me is that on my other bags authenticity numbers on the sticker start with letters and this one only has numbers. Please authenticate! Thank you!

I think its life is over....FENDI probably won't/can't fix & they won't work on it in most cases unless you are a direct customer of theirs -- in other words the Ebay purchase nullifies it. So sorry! :-(

This bag is authentic & the hologram with numbers is correct for this season & bag. This looks really new, but it is from 2004 season. :tup:
