Can you explain difference between this code 18AMA-1120 from the codes on most bags which are ##-month-####?
Is this type of code on the newer bags?
The reason why I'm asking is because I called the Dior boutique and they said it's not a valid code...

It is not a reference number, which may be why the Dior boutique said that it is not a valid number. It's just a date code.

MA does not stand for month either. Otherwise, it means that most Dior bags are made in May.

The "A" after the "18" is not normally there but there are variations with the date code, so having an extra digit doesn't make it fake.

I also can't seem to find anything similar to it online, but the bag says it was made in France (and the box it comes in looks quite old) so I'm wondering if it's vintage Any help really appreciated, let me know if you need more photos etc!
