Hi! I'm pegging for your expertice about my vintage Dior on page 78! the pidding ends tomorrow and i have no clue about the bag :sweatdrop: ..

members are not on the forum 24 hours a day and we rely on each other's expertise in authenticating items. I am not familiar with vintage Dior and the ones who are may not be able to come to the forums everyday to authenticate items, so I'm afraid you'll have to wait for another member to come along before the end of the auction if possible

That's a medium sized 'My Dior' bag. It looks like it could be authentic, but you'll need to provide close up photos of the stitching on the handles as well

Thanks michi_chi! That was fast! I've uploaded some more photos to photobucket, hopefully they are the ones you need?

the condition of the bag breaks my heart, it's seen better days, but it's authentic :smile1:

Thanks michi_chi, you're fantastic!

Yeah, someone has really not taken care of it. :-( Would you have any advice on how to halt the damage to the lining? Something I could have it coated with? Is it possible to have the lining replaced?

I'm afraid with the extent to the damage of the bag, there's nothing that can be done. It's a meticulous process that is used by the experts who produce the bags at the House of Dior and because the leather lining has completely ripped from its seams, there's not much chance of it getting repaired

:-( thought that might be the case. I'll just have to give it the love it deserves, and hope it doesn't get any worse.

Thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it. :-) :-)
