I am going to post a question here in hopes of guidance and to make sure I make my request properly.

My son came in to owning a trench coat (that is what I call it). He will be bringing to me so I can take photos of it.
My question is am I allowed to do that without a link to anything? I would really just like to know if it is a fake so I can destroy it. If it is authentic, well, it will be up to my son, I guess. lol If it even appears possible, I will happily pay whichever company might handle it.

Yes, you can just post photos but it's best if we also know where it was purchased from. The vendor can help in our opinion of whether or not something is authentic.

Thank you. It was a friend of his who had it so I won't know. He did not come over today before work so who knows when I will get a hold of it. I appreciate your help!!!! The folks at TPF are so generous.

Could someone please authenticate this bag? I believe the seller is legit.
I can post more pics but don't have the bag with me at the moment.

The bag looks okay to me, although I can't confirm due to the number of accurate fakes out there.

I am note sure if it is authentic.
Seller said it is authentic. Couldn't provide me an inside code. I have asked my friend if her bag came in plastic packaging she said no.
I am lost

Stay away from listings where the seller refuses to provide important pictures. It's a sign that something's fishy.

And we can't authenticate without those pictures.

Thank you very much for you reply. I appreciate your time.
I thought that something is not right. She had mentioned that she bought this bag in Monaco However she wasn't keen to provide the serial number or a phone number of the Monaco store
Believe or not. She sent me a very horrible message , because I said that it doesn't look like a genuine item and my friend confirmed that her Dior bag'so handles wasn't wrapped in a plastic.
