Authenticate This Dior - please read post 1 FIRST

Hi^^ can you please authenticate? Ive negotiated a buy it now price with the seller and just received the bag today. I now live in a place ehere a closest dior boutique is 2hrs away and havent got to see the be dior bag before in person so i am not so sure what to look for. I was expecting it to be heavy like diorissimo but found this to be lighter... please help. Thank u.

Still more..... sorry and thank you. Also as you can see from the last picture theres a little bulge on the front flap from the clasp underneath.. is it normal/acceptable for an authentic be dior?

Wow scary how accurate some of these fakes have gotten... but i had my doubts due to the leather quality and the workmanship especially around the edges... i just couldnt be sure. Thank u alot for your quick help. You just save me a couple grand i always appreciate your help.

For a dispute this big, I recommend that you reach out to a professional authenticating company and have them issue you a letter stating that the bag is fake. PP will not simply take your word for it that the bag is fake and you cannot use TPF as proof. Just FYI in case you want to expedite the return process.

Ty. I contacted the seller and she promptly replied to me and guaranteed its authenticity. I was just about to put in the request for authentication at authentictae4u anyway^^ thank u for your tips!!

I know it's a bit costly, but you need the order the pdf version (costs $30). PP won't accept the email version, as it is not official and doesn't have A4U's letter head. It's good that you're contacting A4U so soon, they've been a bit slow lately.

Ty^^ ive asked the seller where she got the bag and she told me she got it as a gift directly from dior pr team bc shes worked with them professionally. Shes been replying promptly so hopefully just getting an email authentication is enough to get a refund directly from her. I figured i will get the written statement from them if i actually have to go go through the paypal for refund. It says its 50 for statement pretty expensive. Lol

Anyone can make up an elaborate story to support the authenticity of a product, but no story can change the fact that this bag is fake.

Please request an authentication here in the future before paying for an item. It will save you the trouble. I know that sometimes a deal can slip out of your hands if you wait for an authentication, but I rather miss a good deal than to go through the nightmare of receiving a fake.

Please keep us updated about the progress of your return. You may be asked to send the bag back to the seller. In that case, please be sure to ship using a tracked and insured method. Some sellers pretend that they never received the return item, and without a tracking number and insurance, it would be very difficult to get your money back.

They must have increased the price.

It is highly unlikely that the seller will back down given that she already has your money. She will just continue to deny it. And if you request just email authentication, you're going to end up paying for both, email and pdf authentication. I guess you can try, but I find it hard to believe her story and feel like she's trying extra hard to accommodate you so you feel more at ease and hopefully will drop the return. Anytime this much money is at stake, I would recommend just opening a PP case and making it official. If you communicate with her, you should do it with a case open. That way all of your communication is on record- sometimes paypal doesn't accept personal email exchanges. Let's say she tells you to return the bag and you do but she then refuses to refund your money even though you have tracking information- without a request from PP or proof that PP can physically see, they won't force the refund. Just be careful when dealing with scammers. Take all precautions, it might cost a bit, but definitely don't risk thousands of dollars because you want to save $50.
