I was finally able to get to my office and sit down and quickly looked over your photos. The bag pictured is indeed a fake.

Hello,

this is my first post in this forum, so I hope I do it correctly. I would be so greatful if you could help me with these two bags. They are sold by a pawn shop in Sweden. In general they are very reliable, but I am thinking that perhaps they are not as knowledgable as you are in this forum and they might be wrong about the authenticity. They have a few other bags out as well, from the same person.

Dear Tpfers, please help me with this bag, I tried to upload all the pictures but the photobucket web is currently down and I can't wait since really need to have an answer. I bought a medium Lady dior in pink patent from luxuryexchange.com, they are well known as selling authentic designers and even luxury real estate. I didnt use the bag yet but then I found out the booklet came with the bag (its like new condition) has a mistake in a very common word. So at the part:

Leather :
* Avoid prolonged contact.......
* Avoid exposing the item directly to the SON (supposed to be the SUN)

This makes me wonder about its authenticity because luxury designer shouldnt have this mistake.

I can tell you that the error has appeared on some authentic booklets, too.

The Lady Dior looks good to me, but I cannot be sure. It's very difficult to authenticate Lady Dior bags now, because their increased popularity has led to super-fakes.

Thank you for your quick reply, I'm really appreciate that. I have no doubt about luxury exchange but just the wrong wording bothers me, that/s why I sent it here hopefully to get an surely answer about the chance of it happens with authentic booklets before :)

I have a lady Dior , purchased from the Dior boutique and it also has "son" in the booklet. Must be a typo that went unnoticed, as on the previous page of the booklet they use the correct spelling "sun".
Sometimes it's the smallest things that give people pause......there was a thread on Tom Ford sunglasses and the card that comes with them. It uses the term "really authentic" which does sound odd, but is in fact correct for authentic TF sunnies. I wonder sometimes if the fact that the booklets & cards are printed in multiple languages is a factor.........
