Yes, this is normal. Sorry for the confusion. "Small accessories" usually have the date code imprinted like this. I know that the Miss Dior "handbag" as the small leather tag on a vertical seam.

Hi everyone! I'm new here so please forgive me if I'm doing this incorrectly. I was hoping someone could help me authenticate this Ballet bag I found on eBay. My concern is the lining and the code. Please let me know if anything else looks suspicious. Thanks in advance for your expertise!

Hello Friederike,

The production date, date stamp font, and lining do not correlate. I have never seen a Lady Dior from this year made with these traits. I hope other members can give their insight.
