Hi Dior experts,
I bought this LD from my local Dior boutique and have been using it for a while. Now I have several concerns for my bag: I accidentally spotted something odd on the clips of the shoulder strap, and I marked them in my pics. It looks like a small circle or semi-circle near the CD on one side of both clips, and they just seem really weird to me. This is my only LD bag so I couldn't verify if any other LDs have it as well. I remembered reading somewhere that this can be an indicator of the bag being fake. Whether it is true or not, I got freaked out so I examined my bag, and looking at it closely, the stitching on the handle looks a bit off to me. Also, the gold plating of the O charm seems to cause color transfer on the lambskin of the tag, and I have no idea if it is normal or not. I decided to have my bag authenticated just for a peace of mind, as someone could have brought super fakes to the boutique and exchanged for real ones (How scary!). Am I being paranoid?
Your bag is authentic. The faint circles from the clasps come from the hinge inside and while they are often invisible, they do show up every once in a while during production.
The colour transfer from the charm is due to the fact that the gold hardware is being rubbed, and the gold plating on top can rub off a bit if the contact is constant.
