Hi all,

Could you please help me authenticate this Lady Dior. Thank you.

can you ask pic of the production code? it's on the back of the inner tag:smile1:

Hello,

My situation is I already commited to buy and paid the seller. Since the day i paid, the seller only contact me once to ask about my phone number so that they can fill out the international shipping form. When I asked about the picture of the production code, twice after I paid, the seller has not contact me back. Look like they have not ship the item yet, since I recieve no shipping information. The not so good side is I found out about TPF authenticate this after I made the transation. I also used paypal with my american express card for extra protection. What do you suggest me to do for now? Thank you.

I agreed, what was the purpose of doing that ?

BTW that bag's winning bid was $2,330.99.

Hi. I was the winning bidder for the bag but after so many discussion on the authenticity of the bag, I beginning to doubt and did not proceed to pay. I've even left the seller negative feedback for the stolen card.

Thanks to all the lovely Tpfs for your help and concern. Sorry if I caused much debate here. I just want to make sure I paid and get the real bag.

I don't get it. Is there some evidence? "fake" or "real" aren't convincing answers on their own.

:confused1: Did I miss your authenticity question or help in this thread?
Please keep comments off so people don't have to wade through chat to find their answers. But, since you asked so politely. . . . we don't give detailed reasons why an item is fake, or real as counterfeiters do not need to be taught how to improve their crap ;)

Hello - thank you so much in advance - it is so awesome what all you authenticators at the Purse Forum do! And it is much appreciated! : )

Item name:Lady Dior Black Cannage Bag
Item number: 180950779425

And we appreciate your politeness, however you must read the first post for all the picture requirements. There is a vital picture of the bag that hasn't been provided by the seller and without this we can't authenticate with certainty.

The auction has already been removed by Ebay, which may help you with your claim since the auction was suspicious.

I suggest contacting American Express and requesting a chargeback due to item not received. You have to wait 30 days after the date of transaction before you can file a chargeback. This is because a reasonable amount of time must be given for the seller to ship the item to you. However, it sounds like this is a case where you'll never receive the item.

I suggest the chargeback over a PayPal claim because Paypal's claim resolution process is not transparent and takes a long time. Worse, PayPal sometimes won't give you the full amount back because they say that they couldn't "retrieve/recover all of the funds". If you read their user agreement, then you'll find how most of the policies prevent PayPal from losing money, not you.

So contact American Express and let them know the situation. Ask them about the date that you can file your claim, and also how to do it.

Oh, I'm sorry. I do understand now. I'm new (found you because a friend recommended the site) and I don't know the ropes.

Thank you, I really apreciate it. I'll contact American Express as suggested.
