Hmm. I had purchased two Chanel bags from this site. I of course had them checked out by our wonderful ladies in he Chanel auth. and had good luck with them. Could it be possible that Portero overlooked or had been fooled by a few? Not all of them, I understand, is in-house. Some are send directly from the seller who had consigned them through Portero.

Some of the same bags, I've noticed, are sometimes on Malleries. This makes me wonder.

I do hope I can breathe easily on this Dior, it's sooo soft like a Chanel or the inside of an Hermes.

Yes, some sellers do have a few authentic pieces mixed with fake ones, but this usually means that it's best not to buy from them. The fact that two different websites use the same pictures means that I would not buy whatever they have to offer, just to be safe.

I think this could've been what happened with the tie-dye Dior Soft bag. In my opinion the bag pictured is authentic, though the discrepancies with the web site as mentioned by the other members do call the provenance of its stock into question.

Authentic :smile1:

And it is genuine patent leather. Dior's older patent leather has a pearl effect and colour consistency that makes it look like plastic.
