Im not sure if you authenticate scarfs--but even thoughts on this scarf would be helpful!

Item number: purchased at TJMAXX
Seller TJMAXX

i purchased this scarf (2 actually) at TJMAXX. tag says its 50%wool 50% acrylic and made in Italy. I tried to take it in to a dior store to see if the sales associate would give me any help..and she said "we don't sell to TJMAXX" and we don't sell wool scarfs (she was standing next to ladies silk scarfs) however i'm pretty sure I have seen wool scarfs at dior. Normally i would trust what I buy at TJMAXX--however, this was not in a RUNWAY tjmaxx--just a normal one. They were also selling a pink Dior scarf--but that one the dior tag was falling off (and i'd expect better quality from dior).

It's difficult to tell due to the year the scarf was made, but if it's from TJMaxx, then it's most likely authentic.

Dior doesn't sell to TJMaxx, but companies that either go out of business or try to sell their old stock end up selling some Dior merchandise through lot auctions or other agreements to TJMaxx.
