Definitely fake, the entire serial prefix is invalid, and the inside pocket zipper is too short.
Smooth navy blue leather, authenticated on the Purse Forum but I don't know when, sold in February.
Thank you! I knew the creed was off ~but Now I definitely understand what the zipper issue is.. It is short and framed...that would be a good example to save as it was very visible !

The inner zipper pocket won't lay flat-it sags at the bottom of the bag. I(See picture below) don't know what happened to the handle but it has waves on the top of it. Some of the leather looks very wrinkly all over. My pictures:

I don't know what happened to that handle. I think that some of the stiffening material must have been damaged. I don't see anything that makes me believe the bag isn't authentic. I'm not sure when they started offering adjustable straps on Courts; the earlier bags didn't have an adjustable strap. I know that by 2000, the straps were adjustable. I have that same problem with a saggy inner pocket and wrinkly leather on a convertible clutch made in 1999. I don't know if the saggy, wrinkly leather is from improper storage or if the leather was inferior to begin with. In the case of my convertible clutch, the leather is thinner and softer than my NYC convertible clutch.
Thanks Whateve, I didn't know that about the older straps not being adjustable. And yes, it makes sense that the pocket leather might have stretched and gotten saggy.
I have a 1999 Court w/an adjustable strap.
Some help please for my sis? She bid on this bag so I just want to get your feedback on whether it's authentic or not. It looks good to me but I'm not experienced enough to know!

Good Evening !! ruth122149 ebayseller just listed another bag, right after the " Patricia flips-her-lid" got pulled..she wrote out the creed, and posted a creed pic that is very blurry..it looks like a stewardess? Earlier today I saw an ebay listing from another seller for a "COACH Knock-off"..some of them slip through, I think buyers believe the seller is being "honest", when in fact they are selling FAKE Coach Fake Gucci,Fake LV and other Designer bags with fake creeds etc..then conveniently not taking pics of the creeds or fake serial numbers. Even if its listed as a" knock-off" or "COACH STYLE" or "Gucci-Like" it is still against ebay, etsy & prob every online stores' policy plus all designers "copyright"(sorry can't think of the word) laws to list wanna-be designer items that use fake identifying marks, such as serial numbers, creeds, hang tags, labels etc..
Please correct me if I am wrong! my comprehension of the rules I have been reading for various e-stores are :if its pretending to be authentic..it is not allowed to be listed..whatever you call it. If not, between us all,... we could make a fortune selling fakes we have found. or have been tricked into purchasing!
My black Court's handle looked just like that. I gave it a bath and it looks way better. No more wrinkles. Maybe give it a try?
