Hey guys... I have a post on my blog with classic examples of fugly fakes. I know we're all diligent about posting them here and reporting them BUT the images disappear once the listing is removed. If there are any images that you'd like to add let me know. I'm a visual person so Hyacinths guides are awesome and pics that show examples are helpful to me as well!

Crikey, I wouldn't even know where to start!
How about
Coach creeds should never sound like something from a third-rate translation program, or be missing letters or punctuation or have spelling mistakes:
And this
"As far as we know at the moment, Coach never made bags with creeds that began "This is a Coach BEAN Bag..."
Or used C pattern or Logo lining together with a C pattern on the outside. The too-short serial number, horrible red sealant around the creed patch and the creed misspellings make the one in the last 2 pictures a grand slam home run. The only thing the fakers managed to do RIGHT was aligning the C pattern in the right direction instead of 90 degrees sideways.
Oh my goodness, those fakes are unbelievable! I guess if you can read and are a fairly decent speller you can figure a lot of these out......
Thanks for posting these photos ladies!
On the very old bags, there could just be a creed and no serial number. Serial numbers weren't used in the beginning. There are also some of those with the glued-on serial number where the serial number part was removed.I can't believe how bad those are....chair and bean bags? Although....if they made a Coach bean bag chair I might be interested. Thanks for posting them, I still can't figure out if some are real or not. The ones that confuse me are the ones like the vintage kisslocks that have the creed and then a box. A lot of them it looks like the serial is missing, one seller told me it is because it wore off. Is that possible and the creed still be there?

I have a bag with a bean bag creed. The quality of the bag is really good. I had it for a month before I realized it was fake!
You can't look up the number on any bag that says Made in New York city. The numbers are unique. Before they started using numbers, the creeds looked like this, without a number. The bag in the listing you posted has a glued-on serial number. Sometimes those were pulled off. The NYC creeds are usually easy to see. There are some newer creeds that weren't stamped as deep and are sometimes really hard to read. I've had a few almost disappear completely when I bathed the bag.It was like the creed on this bag:

It had the entire creed, the registration box, and the writing under it but no registration/serial number. The owner said it had rubbed off but nothing else was missing. Someone on here had a family member that won it for rehab, maybe they will have better pics with it just rubbed down. The older bags are confusing to me because when you look them up online a lot of the time nothing comes up.
This one is so obvious but it made me laugh that it could fool someone.Hey guys... I have a post on my blog with classic examples of fugly fakes. You were already tolds it's genuine by the best authenticator here.
And others listed on Ebay made in the same plant, month and year as yours have exactly the same stamp.
