It appears authentic.

Thanks Again whateve!!!
I don't know whether you're the buyer or the seller but I did see that the seller posted on the ebay purse board. Evidently, the buyer was told at a Coach store that the bag is fake.

I wish Coach would grow a set of ethics and humility and admit that they aren't allowed to authenticate, aren't trained to authenticate, don't know authenticity of items and that they just cannot comment on items not currently in their stores. Instead, they either (at best) give misinformation or (at worst) knowing lie to their customers.

I can't even count the number of times authentic bags have been deemed fake by employees who don't understand random serial numbers or can't find a bag in their computer database or worse, the fakes they deem as authentic because the counterfeiters were "smart" enough to use a "valid" serial number.

I agree with the response the seller got on the boards when she said that some employees who do this "authenticating" probably weren't born at the time of production of some of the items.

Although in this case, the SAs would have had to have been under 10 for that to have been true! Coach still makes this style so I wonder what would have caused an employee to think it was fake. Maybe just because they had never seen one before?

I don't think so.

My guess is that the buyer walked into the Coach store, said she bought a bag from ebay and wants to know if it's authentic. So she was told it's fake because Coach hates ebay, wants customers to buy directly from them and Coach doesn't realize that some customers live in the boonies where there aren't any stores within 200 miles, or that customers want items that are no longer available in stores or any other number of reasons why people shop online.

Can someone educate me please? Are you saying that the bag in the link is authentic? I didn't realize that the older thick leather bags ever had interior divided slip pockets.
