Hello everyone,

My main concern with this otherwise perfect handbag is with the creed. Is it just me, or is the black outline around the creed wonky? The stitching looks a little off as well.

If someone could authenticate this bag, I'd be grateful!

Thank you. :)

I don't see any problems.

Comments: My mom bought me a bag a long time ago and said she got it in The Bay. I was on the coach website tonight and noticed that the new legacy swingpacks on the Coach site have the classic C logos.. and mine doesn't. My C's are bigger and don't connect.. I never really noticed before. My bag looks EXACTLY like that one above that I just linked. Did my mom get me a fake? I don't care if she did, I'd just like to know so that I don't try and sell it in the future and get in trouble.

There is nothing wrong with the bag in the listing. Coach has used several types of c's on their signature items. If you want your bag authenticated, you need to post pictures of it.

Coach has made and current makes different signature patterns. They come in different sizes and different shapes.

The listing you've linked is in the op art signature pattern and that listing is an authentic swingpack.

In order to authenticate your item, we need to see pictures. Please post pictures of the front, the back and the inside. If more pictures are needed after, we'll request them.

Except for the first listing as a Buy It Now or Make An Offer, all regular auctions start at $9.99

Seller just received a negative feedback for selling an item not in stock but "seems" reputable.

Seller appears to have been a victim of another seller using her photos to sell the same bag. I noticed the seller's watermark and sent the seller a message for which the seller quickly thanked me and the scam seller's listing was ended mid-auction with "item no longer available". About an hour later, the scam seller re-listed this time cropping the watermark off. I had thought the original seller would keep an eye out on this scammer and catch this and do something about it but apparently not as the scam seller's listing keeps getting bids. Not sure if I should tell her again or mind my own business.

Scammer: romanymiro (has 100% positive feedback and has been selling for months)

Scam current listing of same bag: 161097259450

http://www.ebay.com/itm/161097259450?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Bottom line, is the original seller's item authentic enough to pass muster?
Because she apparently has multiple bags and is listing all at once, her prices don't get bid up too high.
When I messaged her, she freely admitted to using one set of photographs for all the bags. Should I be suspicious that she is letting the scam seller keep using her photos, or is she genuinely an innocent victim?

I wondered about taking this up with the eBay forum but because I want this bag while the prices are steals, I thought I'd start here to see if I should take the plunge. Thanks and my apologies for the long post.

Honestly those are horrible pictures. Why would someone steal them? I don't feel like the pictures are clear enough. Since she is using the same pictures for all of her bags, you have no idea what the bag you receive will look like. I know from my own experience with this style that there are variations in the pebbling of the leather. I ended up returning one because it looked awful.

As far as the other seller stealing her photos, she probably doesn't know that the seller is still using them.

Thank you so much! I did not realize those photos were that bad, I guess wanting the bag and the price factor was making me blind. :cray: and dumb...always appreciate being able to come here for some sanity and sage advice.

I definitely do NOT recommend any Coach buyer purchase from seller, romanymiro as the seller is a picture thief and giving her the benefit of the doubt that she didn't know it was disallowed, had the gall to crop the other seller's watermark and relist. That tells me that she knows she's wrong but is going to steal the picture(s) anyway. It's not honest and she's not a seller I'd do business with. Who knows what you'll get?

As for itsinaclutch, it's hard to tell whether some of her listings have her own pictures or if they're stock photos. If her own, most of her listings don't have enough pictures to make accurate assessments of authenticity.

Regarding her use of recycled photos, that's not uncommon and IMO, not a problem. She seems to purchase multiple NWT items specifically for resale and being new and unused, the bags are in the new condition shown. There can be slight textural differences in leather but in most cases, it's so minor as to not be noticed.

Most sellers of new items use one set of pictures for listings of the same style. IMO, as long as there are enough pics to authenticate, I don't see a problem.

ETA: As a seller, I certainly appreciate being told if my work is stolen by others and I would let the seller know that the sneaky picture thief used her images again. What the seller should do is to report the listings rather than contacting the thief. Ebay will (eventually) remove the lisitngs and ding the infringing account.

^^^ Regarding the above post and the picture theft done by romanymiro, I wouldn't buy from romanymiro because of the interesting "appearance" in the bidding patterns.
