Can someone take a look at this one for me?

Item: "vintage Coach backpack" L8C-9064
Listing: 13969233
Seller: shop Goodwill online

As I was looking for pics online to compare it to, the only one I found that matched in all the details was this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Vinta...rge-Legacy-Backpack-Bag-US-9064-/261261128820

Seller has a good set of pics in the auction description section....

So, having read some and tried to pick up a few things to look for in authentication, here's what drew my attention...
1: the straps, especially on the brown one, seem a little less substantial than I would expect. The brown ones look kind of rough, but that could be because it's old!
2. The hang tag does not have a grommet, but I've read that back a certain ways, they didn't.
3. The hardware also seemed a little less substantial than I expected, but perhaps thats because these bags would not have been from a time when people liked bigger hardware on their items?

So, that's what stood out to me to check on, and the thoughts I had of why it could go either way. Still a total newbie here, but trying to pick up on the details!

If you have time, please let me know what you think-- Thanks!! :smile1:

Can someone please authenticate these Coach heels?
Found both pairs at Goodwill today...both my size...and barely worn...hubby said buy them both!
Fortunately the gold pair still had stickers on them. I wouldn't have taken a chance on just the black ones without a style number.
Any info is appreciated...Thanks in advance!

Authentic and the style is called Cagney.

One more, if you are willing....

This one is a wristlet, so no creed?

Is it just me, or does that bow on the back look a little odd??

Again, thanks so much for your help!
It looks fine to me. I'm not on my computer so I can't search the style number but there were several with bows.
YAY! YIPPEE! YAHOO! Thanks, BeenBurned! I was pretty confident as I found a matching pair on ebay on my iphone while I was trying them on. The ebay listing quoted orig. price at $178. Any idea if that's true? And do you have any idea of approx. age?

You're welcome. The price sounds like its in the ballpark.

Both backpacks look fine. Hangtags on older bags didn't have grommets - but we would never use hangtags to authenticate since they can be moved from bag to bag. The hardware on the main buckle looks substantial to me, and it also looks like buckles I have on bags from the same era. I don't think you would want really thick rings on the straps because they might dig into your back.

I don't see any problems with it. More opinions are welcome. The bow has become folded from improper storage.
