And the last of my white bags for authentication...
This one came from Goodwill in 2009 for $1.00!
Approx. 8"w x 5.5"h x 2"d Strap drop 25"
Is this a Casino Bag #9924 from 1996?
Thanks...again!
Yes it is. I found one of these at a Las Vegas thrift store! I thought that was appropriate. Mine was marked $15, but the cashier thought that was too much and reduced it to $3!

Thank you very much Hyacinth and whateve!
Last night I applied Leather CPR twice to half of the back of the bag. It soaked it up and this morning the area felt more pliable on the surface; the suede side was still stiff. Likely the bag dried out while in storage. I'm looking forward to conditioning the leather to bring it back to a thick, soft condition!
You're welcome. It's amazing what conditioning can do! You can brush the suede to soften it up. Eventually the conditioner should soak through the leather to help soften it as well.

Sorry, here's the rest:
Item: Coach Crossbody Court Bag authentic Brown Leather Vintage 9x8
Listing number: 190851293622
Seller: mojot4cash
Comment: unlined leather by slip pockets and main compartment is thin, rough to the touch and suede is non-existent. Also, is stitching color correct?

Does not have hand feel of soft, thick, pliable vintage Coach leather.

Seller said he bought it at a Baltimore dept. store 'a few years ago' for his wife, who did not use it much. IRL it seems too pristine for its age and color.

"A few years ago" seems to be stretching it since going by the year code, the bag is at least 20 years old.

I'll leave the comparison of the "feel" of the leather to any posters here who may have a similar Court Bag from the early 1990s. It's just possible that if the bag sat around on the shelf or in a storeroom the leather may have dried out.

The stitching color is unusual but Coach seems to have used a contrast stitiching on a few bags during that time, or the thread might have been discolored by a product like saddle soap. The creed seems ok.

More opinions are welcome.

The bag in the listing looks authentic. I have the same bag from the same era in green. The inside of the front pocket and the inside of the zipped pocket don't have the same suede feel of the inside of the bag. The leather feels thick and soft with the exception of the base. The bag in the listing appears to have the same thick leather that my bag does. It was made between 1998 and 1993 so it is more than a few years old but if it wasn't used much and stored properly, there is no reason it couldn't be in great shape. Mine is.
No means an expert here :) but I had a Court authenticated in November from the same time period. I can look at the leather when I get home.

WOw! I've had them ask to the price is too low and should it be raised! but I've never seen them reduce it.

It was one of those stores where they have all the Coach in a glass case. The glass case was full of fakes with high price tags. I told the manager they were fakes and he told me they've been selling counterfeits for years and it wasn't illegal! This one somehow missed being put into the case, probably because it wasn't covered with c's. I was surprised when she reduced it, but I wasn't going to say anything!

Hi everyone, can you ladies look at a couple of bags? A couple have questionable creed numbers (at least to me as a rookie). thanks

Comment: Creed pic is blurry I think it starts with a "2"

Thanks a lot.

1- probably ok

2- VERY fake, please report. And DO NOT BUY COACH ITEMS FROM " BASS6386 ". Anyone who calls themself a "trusted Ebay Coach seller" should have a basic knowledge of Coach serial numbers AND know what the inside pocket in a Patricia's Legacy is supposed to look like.

3- looks ok

4- no way I would even think of buying without a readable creed photo
