I recently purchased this Coach City Bag in butter soft glove tanned leather, it was at my local SA store...but I have some doubts if this bag is authentic.I never saw the creed numbers looking like this.I am just starting collecting Classic Coach bags and can you, please , explain to me what do they mean!:)As far as this bag is not selling on Ebay but is in my private possession, I cannot provide seller ID and auction #.Just want to be sure if this bag is authentic. Thanks a lot in advance!
It isn't a vintage bag. It was made for factory in 2007. The E stands for the fifth month - May, the 07 is the year, the 51 is the factory code. The F before the style number means made for factory. The style number is 9790. They just added the 0 to make it consistent with the length of current style numbers. It is authentic. It may have a different feel than vintage bags.

Comments: TIA!

I'd need to see the fabric straps extended instead of folded over to be completely sure. The one photo they show of the inside doesn't show any creed patch at all, but it looks like the seller has turned the inside pocket inside-out for some reason and the creed patch isn't showing - stupid thing to do, but it's probably genuine.

Here's another real one for comparison:

The pictures on the link don't show up for me but thanks for looking. Now that I have a name, I am sure it will eventually show up again. This is the second softest bag I've ever owned (the first being a vintage Carlos Falchi), it's nice to know what it is. Thanks again!
You have to click "see original listing" and scroll down. The pictures are embedded in the body of the listing. You're welcome.

I thought is was there, but is now: http://buffismemories.shutterfly.com/pictures/568
It looks like it was made in September 2002 in Costa Rica but I have not seen one like it in any of my searches.

You're welcome. I found this one, which looks like the larger version. http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Legac...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
