I am new to this forum. I would like to know if this bag is an authentic coach. I've googled the serial number, but got no results.
Serial # 005-5122
I think is a vintage purse. I have attached a pictures.

Please provide a picture of the creed including the serial number. Bags made before 1994 have unique serial numbers so you won't find them on a google search. It looks like a spectator Court bag.

Please be careful meeting up with a someone from craigslist. Make sure you bring someone with you and meet in a public and well lit place.

I think I've made a huge mistake. Alas, was so eager to pull the trigger on this shiny camel bag that I couldn't wait to get it authenticated. Lesson learned - but would one of you kind ladies take a look at it?

What is your concern? We've seen Janice's Legacy bags made for factory before. It isn't vintage. I don't see any problems with it.

This seller (randiesstuff) has listed "samples" again. I have asked for some sort of proof of authenticity like a receipt, invoice, tags, statement, etc..., and they are unable to provide anything of that sort.

Without any solid proof or documentation, I wouldn't touch randiesstuff 's listings if they were the last listings on ebay!

In fact, in her current listings, she has two completely different styles of bags with the identical serial number of D0982-99999:
