Hi there, I've been lurking for a while - this place is awesome.

Can you help me authenticate this? It's a brown, medium sized vintage glove tanned leather satchel of some sort.

Item name: Unsure, would love to know.
Pictures: imgur link - There should be 7 pictures there, including the last one which is a close up of the creed. The number is G4C-9958, made in the USA.
Measurements: 13''X9''X5'' with 6 inch strap drop (measured from top of bag)

Thanks in advance! Very much hope it's authentic so I can proceed to the rehab section :)

It looks good - it's a Pelham Zip from 1994.

Item: Coach Court Bag

Can you someone authenticate this bag? I've uploaded several pics. Thanks

Comments: Hi - I've already purchased this lot and will add additional pics for you. Please authenticate the Coach bag. Any info as to name or year would be great as well. Thanks so much.

It looks genuine. I think it's a Slim Zip Bag, style 4018 from the 1991 Lightweight Collection.

Hello, I didn't know about this forum. I recently purchased a Coach Candace Carryall Black/Camel colour from a seller on ebay, listed as new without tags.
I have received the bag but it didn't come with any authenticity cards (not sure if it was supposed to). It arrived in a satin coach dust bag, but that's all.
Can you please let me know if it is authentic or not.

It looks ok to me but you may want to wait for another opinion.

And there's no such thing as an "authenticity card". There's no piece of paper, no matter how official-looking, that can ever prove a designer item is genuine. Paperwork, printed cards, receipts, price tags, anything - they all can be counterfeited and should never be depended on to prove something's real. Any seller who claims a Coach comes with an "authenticity card" may be selling fakes.

Thanks Hyacinth!

Thanks for the fast response.

Item: Court Bag
Serial Code: C6C-9870. Since it was too black for the seller to take a clear pic.

Can you check out this one as well. Here are the pics. Thanks

I agree that the bag looks fine.

The description states that it's missing the tag and though it doesn't say, it might or might not have the care card but as Hyacinth pointed out, those items can be (and often are) faked. Also, some dishonest sellers use authentic props with their listings for fakes.

My only issue with the listing (and the seller may have done this on other lisitngs too) is that it's listed in the item specifics as NWOT - new without tags. And NWOT means NEVER used. Per ebay's definition: "A brand-new, unused, and unworn item (including handmade items) that is not in original packaging or may be missing original packaging materials (such as the original box or bag). The original tags may not be attached."

However, in the description, it states, "Condition: NWOT - appears unused. May have been carried for a day or two."

If that's the case and clearly, the seller isn't sure it's new, it shouldn't be described as such.

Hello! This is my first time asking for an item to be authenticated. Thank you so much for your help and time -- it is very much appreciated. :)
