Hi Ladies,

Please can you tell me if these two bags are authentic? I am not really interesting buying but when browsing eBay I saws these, and paying much more attention to Coach bags after being on your forum (and learning a lot!). Just curious if these are authentic (even though the C's don't seem to line up too well to me). Thank you in advance!

Yes, Coach lists the measurements as 8x10 I think which is what the seller has in the description.

Ohhh okay. Well I snapped her up at that good price, after shipping its 43.08. I've seen this blue on a bucket bag before and I passed her up. I always kicked myself for that. Do you think If I called Coach and asked for a smaller strap they could accommodate me?

And, as always, thank you for you help

I don't see problems with either listing.

1. This one has properly centered patterns on both front and back. Coach doesn't necessarily match patterns on sides and bottom as it's virtually impossible depending on the pattern placement.

2. The seller incorrectly describes the pattern as op art. But this is correctly called "optic" signature pattern and the very nature of the pattern features overlapping Cs of various sizes. Because of the pattern, optic signature items are (one of many) exceptions to the centered/matched/aligned "rule."

Thank you! Very much appreciate it. I have much more to learn obviously! Great forum and help.

Then if you "know how the site works", please do as the Mods require and post a photo of the creed patch and serial number. I don't feel like spending an hour looking through 30 catalogs and 5000 photos to find a photo and a name because you don't feel like taking a photo of the creed when a photo will give me the information I need.

FROM THE FORUM RULES:

If the bag in question is not on an auction site, please use the following:

Item Name (if you know it):
Link (if available):
Then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos.)
Please be sure to include a clear readable photo of the creed stamp and serial number from inside the bag or accessory if there is one, and the bag's measurements when the bag is an older or vintage leather Coach.

# Authenticators are not required to answer every request and it is their right to ignore a request that is not in the proper format.

If you don't feel you need to follow the same rules everyone else does, you're welcome to take it someplace else.
........ I don't have a photo, nor do I have the bag in my possession right now. Thanks for nothing

I doubt very much if they have anything that would match.

Can anyone tell me the name of this Coach bag and any other details they may know about the bag? Thanks.

If you own it, please post photos of the creed patch from inside the bag.

Check Post #1 of this thread to see the information we need to authenticate an item.

I know how the website works. It's authentic. I bought it. I just need to know the name of it so I can sell it. Please and thank you!
Welcome to tPF!

The reason Hyacinth posted as she did is because if you look at the title of the sub-forum in which you've posted, you'll see that this is the "authenticate this Coach" section. Those who post here do so to find out whether the Coach item they have is authentic because they don't know whether it is. Being rude to someone who offers who gives her own time, knowledge and expertise unselfishly and free of charge is not necessary.

For those who have questions about items they already know are genuine, the place to post is here: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach/id-coach-item-post-any-coach-item-name-355205-339.html#post22875571

The "identify" thread is for those who don't know the name of their item to post pictures of their known Coach products. Be aware that on the "identify" thread, there are few if any of us who have the knowledge and virtual library of catalogs that Hyacinth has to be able to name your bag. And even if someone has the information, without a picture of the creed and without knowledge of the approximate age of the item, they'll have no idea where to look for the information you want.

Again, this is a huge forum and easily overwhelms even those who've been here for years. We're just trying to help you learn your way around. Again, welcome.

Here, I had to skype my mother to get the bag number. Help now please? no EOJ-8131 . If that doesn't work... then I'll try to get my mother to understand that I need a legit picture... Thanks.
