What a great idea! Not only do the lucky ladies get a great classic Coach, but they also get something that in a way is "handmade" especially for them. Beats the heck out of anything else I can think of! :smile1:

Item: Putty Flap Bag (Made in NYC, circa 1980s?)
Seller: Savers Thrift $10.50
Dimensions: 7.5” tall, 8” wide, 4” deep

Please authenticate, thank you! I will post additional photos in the next message. I am guessing that this bag was made in the late 1970s to mid 1980s, is that correct?

BTW, inside of each rehabbed bag that I give away, I include instructions for maintaining the bag as well as information about the bag, the name, style number, color name, year of manufacture, etc. And for they bags that are still being sold (e.g., Willis, City, Station, and Court) I include the date that it was originally released.

I get most of this great information from you fantastic authentication ladies and I feel that it helps to make the gift even more special! Thank you again!

How about adoptive children?? LOL!
They all look great! I bought my sister the leather purple owl for Christmas from a wonderful PF'er!! She was so happy and liked it better than if I had of bought the new one in stores.

Although there aren't any obvious problems with any, none of the listings have enough pictures to authenticate. At the very minimum, we need to see front, back, interior and a clear and legible picture of the creed.

I have emailed the seller, tinashops2011, for pictures of the following and she sent them to me. I hope you can further help me with the authenticity of the bag. Thank you!
