I'd appreciate help with authenticating this purse! I only took three pictures (it's still dark here, and I just can't seem to get good shots with my phone) so if other shot(s), even of specific parts/angles would help, I can do it too when the sun's up.

I have no idea as to the identity of the bag, year made, etc.. just that it's supposed to be coach, it's leather, and whatever else is on the creed..

Welcome to the Purse Forum.

Style number 9164 is the "Legacy East West Compartment" bag. The number "0" after the C means yours was made in 2000. The color is "probably" Mahogany.

Thank you!! I know that long ago I read an explanation of the creed, but no amount of googling led me to this. You ladies are awesome :D I will be attempting a rehab for this lady soon. I think it's the perfect size for going out with the smallest kindle available.

In any case, two more authenticity requests! I'm hoping they're good - it was so hard to conduct research on a phone with slow data, so I took the risk and got them at ~10 apiece..

I can't help with the bag on the left. It's from 2004 and I'm not familiar with many of the "newer" bags.

Does the black bag on the right have the following letters/numbers: H4P-9061? If so, it appears to be an authentic "Rambler's Legacy" made in 1994.

Wait for others to comment and confirm.

Yes, it does say H4P-9061! I didn't realize the picture was upside down :P I apologize for that.

A potentially real 1994.. My tummy just did a little flip! Heh.

I'm so excited about this now.. Thank you again! I'll be looking forward to others' input :)

I think it's okay also but I believe that the "vachetta" reference is incorrect. Vachetta leather is natural and vulnerable to stains and marks. I believe the leather is Garcia leather on this bag, which is a glossier finished leather.

All three of your bags look good. The cream-colored fabric bag is called a Denim Stripe Demi.

The bag is Legacy leather, not Garcia. The color is camel.

I don't like the camel legacy leather because it gets icky dry looking spots on it.

Some sellers say Vachetta Leather. Coach says it is Legacy Leather. I consider vachetta to be a naked leather that is untreated. I do not believe the Legacy Line is vachetta but I could be wrong.

She does not show enough photos to confirm condition of the bag. You want to see the back of the bag and also check for color transfer.
