Why is it that people put so much more credence in the baloney guides they find on the internet but ignore the ones with accurate information?

The first one looks fine. Coach did make briefcases in Italy. The second one does not have enough photos.

Because since the huge majority of internet "guides" are just Copied & Pasted from someone who C&P'd from someone else who C&P'd from someone else, etc etc, there's a lot more cwap out there than accurate information. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to just copy what someone else wrote. But to actually do some real research to try and find or check the answers is too much like work and would actually require time, effort and intelligence (or at least logic) on the part of the guide writers.

And let's face it, Google's no help either. Just another proof that just because something's indexed by Google doesn't mean it's correct, even if the same "facts" are posted at a thousand different sites by a thousand different "writers" - or should I say "copiers"?

From a psychological point of view, I'd guess that people tend to believe the first piece of information they read on a specific subject, and anything they read afterwards has to overcome the info or mis-info that their brains have already processed and filed. But hey, I'm not a psychologist, I just play one on television. :graucho:

No red flags but a picture of the creed is necessary, especially at this pricepoint.

The pictures at the top of the listing appear to be her own but although she admits that the pictures in the body of the description are from Coach's website, they are Coach's copyrighted property and shouldn't be used.

Please don't purchase without a clear picture of the creed. If she sends it to you, you may post it here.

You asked about the seller's reputation. Because this is a very low-feedback seller without any history of selling, I'd be nervous making such a pricey purchase so if you do decide to buy, please fund the payment with a credit card. It'll give you an extra layer of protection.
