That one's genuine.

Does this large ergo hobo look okay? I'm not very familiar with the patchwork styles. Thanks!

EDIT: Sorry I forgot to multi-quote and I can't figure out how to edit this now.

I bid on and won the auction, so I hope I'm okay :wondering. I realize that I should have just posted the auction link to begin with:noggin:. Again, I can't thank everyone here enough.

I can't answer about the dustbags since I've only bought from them online since maybe 2007. But AFAIK the full-price stores and website always provide dustbags.

The bag itself seems to be ok but without being able to read the serial number I can't give a 100 percent positive authentification.

Thank you.

the seller added a new creed photo...would you mind looking again? Please.

Also, are you familiar with this shade of red. Is it lipstick red?

The creed looks ok.

Coach just called it Red, but it's probably the same shade as my 2002 Taft Bag, and the color will probably be most like the first and third photos - not a super bright red but not a darker cherry color either.

I hope that particular Goodwill is no longer getting any of your business, or your friends'.

Amd it doesn't matter under the law WHAT provisions the store sells it under. Selling any kind of fake no matter what they call it or whether it's guaranteed genuine or just "as is" is ILLEGAL. Period. It's against US Federal law no matter who does it, whether or not they're a "non-profit", or what they write on the tag.

A2J-6091 is another number we've seen on fakes - the real style 6091 is shown below. Fakes can have any serial number, valid or not.

They wont now. I am disgusted about it and will be looking into it further. I am also a bit embarrassed, because I should have looked into it before purchase.
I just purchased a couple of more - different designer brands - from a different good will and it seems once again I have been duped.
Thank you for the picture. That is very helpful.

You're welcome.

There's no such thing as "as is" when it comes to illegal items.

You may not have paid a lot of money for it and you may want to consider your payment as a donation. But the fact is that Goodwill is wrong in having sold the bag and I think you should contact the district manager if they give you a hard time.

There's no reason why you should be out a single cent for an item that you don't want, need or wouldn't have purchased had you know it was fake.

I am surely going to look into it more. I am so embarrassed since I just purchased a couple of more faux designer bags from a different Goodwill. How can they continue to do this?
Also, I was looking at a piece of jewelry and the person helping me said that Goodwill NEVER keeps anything worth money on the floor/in the store, they ONLY sell it online. :wtf: Only look for valuables there, but they go for a lot more in price.
