Merry Christmas!!!:yahoo:

I agree with BB that this is a highly faked style and I would only buy from a trusted seller. There needs to be more pictures of the details of the bag and a straight-on picture of the creed. Please post the seller's ID so we can check out the seller's other items.

Not listed, requesting authentication first. Very much grateful. Pictures attached, more if needed are available.
Post #743, brown patchwork tote with 8F69 as the style number on the creed: Fake. (The style number is correct but there's a detail in the pictures that proves fake.)

I meant to say:
Thanks, Hyacinth. I only asked because in another post someone asked about handbags and you referred her to a specific thread talking about creeds and serial numbers. I just wanted to be sure that I hadn't overlooked something similar for Coach accessories. Again, I appreciate all the info that is shared with us and I will continue to frequent here :)

Usually having an incorrect serial number will prove that a bag is fake, and we post numbers so buyers can learn to spot some of the most commonly used fake numbers. But there's a lot more involved in authenticating an item - proving that it's genuine - than there is in proving that it's fake.

But a good place to get a feel for genuine Coach keychains is by getting familiar with the Coach Reference Library forum under the main Coach section. There are several threads with good clear photos of quite a few different Coach keychains.

Thanks. This is exactly the kind of info I was inquiring about. I didn't even know that there was a reference library. I often overlook threads like this because there is a plethora of info available on the site and it's so easy to get distracted by other links. Again, thanks for your time and insight.

Comments: can anyone help me authenticate? Thanks.
Hi! Please help to authenticate...Many Thx.
It's probably okay but I suspect that you aren't getting a response because the pictures aren't close or definitive enough to be sure.
